Re-elected Council members sworn in at the Re-organization meeting on January 2, 2024. (LtoR) Bernard Scalzo, Nicholas Cost, and Joann Matarese. Mayor Christopher Glinton swore in the returning Council Members prior to the start of the meeting.

Newly appointed Council Member Sarah Woody is sworn in by Mayor Christopher Glinton at a special meeting held on January 19, 2024.
Christopher DeGonzague has served on the council since February 2014. President DeGonazuge was nominated to serve as President at the 2024 Re-Organization meeting. Mr. DeGonzague serves as chair of the Employee Safety & Health Committee. He also serves as a member of the Sewer/Garbage Hearing Board and attended numerous workshops at the Susquehanna County Emergency Management offices and the Hazard Mitigation Team. He will temporarily serve as Code Enforcement Officer effective February 2024.
Vice President Bernard Scalzo was appointed to vice president in October 2024 after Nicholas Cost resignation. Bernard F. Scalzo has served since December 2002, replacing his father who had served since 1997. Mr. Scalzo serves as Chair of the Public Works/Streets Committee. He also serves on the Budget & Finance Committee as well as the Personnel Committee.
Robert Lesjack took his seat on council in April 2016. He was elected to the office of Council President on January 3, 2022 and held that office until January 2024. Mr. Lesjack was past chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee and was instrumental in the Borough Building interior renovations on the second & third floors.
Amy Bean began her service to the Borough in January, 2018. Ms. Bean serves as Chair on the Community & Economic Development Committee and the Personnel Committee.
Tracey Lazier took office in January 2018 to serve a four-year term. Mrs. Lazier chairs the Administration Committee and serves on the Personnel Committee.
Councilwoman Sarah Woody was appointed at a special meeting on January 19, 2024 to fill a vacancy left by newly elected Joann Matarese.
Eileen Lynch was appointed at the September
September 30, 2024 Meeting.
Dennise Yankauskas was appointed at the March 4, 2024 Meeting.
Lucinda Stone has been with the Borough since August 2010.
Known also by Cindy, she does the sewer billing and a various other task for the borough.
