Re-elected Council members sworn in at the Re-organization meeting on January 3, 2022. (LtoR) Chris DeGonzague, Robert Lesjack, Tracey Lazier, Amy Bean & Mayor Christopher Glinton
Robert Lesjack took his seat on council in April 2016. He was elected to the office of Council President on January 3, 2022. Mr. Lesjack was past chair of the Buildings & Grounds Committee and was instrumental in the Borough Building interior renovations on the second & third floors.
Nicholas H. Cost has served as both Mayor and Council Member over his many years of service beginning in July 2003. Vice President Cost serves as the Parks & Recreation Board liaison and coordinates the Annual Fishing Derby at Kennedy Park.
Bernard F. Scalzo has served since December 2002, replacing his father who had served since 1997. Mr. Scalzo serves as Chair of the Public Works/Streets Committee. He also serves on the Budget & Finance Committee as well as the Personnel Committee.
Christopher DeGonzague has served on the council since February 2014. Mr. DeGonzague serves as chair of the Employee Safety & Health Committee. He also serves as a member of the Sewer/Garbage Hearing Board and attended numerous workshops at the Susquehanna County Emergency Management offices and with the Hazard Mitigation Team.
Joann Matarese began her service in March 2011. Mrs. Matarese serves as chair of the Personnel Committee. She also lends her experience to the Finance & Budget Committee.
Amy Bean began her service to the Borough in January, 2018. Ms. Bean serves as Chair on the Community & Economic Development Committee, working with the Main Street Coordinator. She also serves on the Personnel Committee.
Tracey Lazier took office in January 2018 to serve a four year term. Mrs. Lazier chairs the Buildings & Grounds Committee.
Attorney McAndrew was appointed to serve as the Borough's solicitor on May 11, 2020. McAndrew Law Office located at 632 Main Street, Forest City, PA
Sharon M. Vannan has been with the Borough since July 2010. As Secretary/Treasurer her duties include payroll, purchasing, & budgeting. She maintains the Borough Website, coordinates public meetings and performs other administrative functions.
Cindy Stone began her service to the Borough in August 2010. Her duties include sewer & garbage billing and collections, as well as other clerical support duties. She serves as Zoning Officer.
