❇️❇️ Forest City Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Free Chicken & Biscuit Dinner , sponsored by D.G.’s DoGooders for families who live within the Forest City Regional School District, ( you do NOT have to have children in school to get this) on Sunday June 7th- pick-up 11:30am- 1:00pm at Kennedy Park, Forest City.
This event is a drive thru.
150 dinners are going to be available and are on a 💢RESERVED basis only💢
You can reserve your dinners by :
1. Private messaging us on Facebook.

3. Calling DGS’s @ 570-785-5995 during business hours, Tuesday thru Saturday 12-6.

A few rules and guidelines:
- please practice social distancing
- basketball hoops are removed
- swings and the play area are off limits
- rest rooms are also unavailable
- Pavilion is closed for repairs
- parks are open from dawn to dusk
Walk, fish, play disc golf or just relax!

Soup Cook-off 2020
Even with the nasty weather , Winterfest 2020 was a success with 21 soup entries!!!

Ms. Marlene Sample, member of NEAREA Telecom. Pioneer Club presented Councilwoman Amy Bean and Council President Nicholas Cost with a check in the amount of $100 to be used for Parks & Recreation upcoming events. NEAREA is affiliated, nationally, with the Independent Telecommunications Pioneer Associaton of Hinesville, GA and more closely with the Independent Telecomm. Companies of the North East AREA of PA which includes NEP Telephone Co. of Forest City. The vision of ITPA if "Volunteers leading through community service".
Big Thank You to Matt Taylor on his great job on the 3 vs. 3 Basketball Tournament at Kennedy Park on July 7, 2019.
